At the beginning of the process, I will talk to you in detail to understand what your schooling requirements are. This allows me to prepare to place your child in a school where they will thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The initial meeting can be face to face or online e.g. Zoom or Teams.
I will talk to you about the type of school you require, the location, logistical requirements, and also take into account any particular aspects you are looking for such as sporting facilities, musical opportunities and medical considerations.
You might be planning to move abroad, but would prefer your children to remain in the UK at boarding school and require support in choosing the right boarding school for your child. Or, you may be relocating back to the UK and would like to explore independent and state school options.
Once I have established your requirements, I will suggest the appropriate package for you. All advice given is objective and unbiased. You may already have an idea of the schools that you are interested in. I may also be able to suggest other options that could be considered. A bespoke package can then be agreed.
I will arrange to visit schools on your behalf and feedback to you. We can then create a shortlist of schools. When you visit the UK, I will arrange appointments for you to visit your chosen schools, and work with you to complete application forms, ensuring you meet any deadlines.
Sometimes a family may know a year in advance that they will be relocating. This provides the opportunity to create an individually tailored programme of tuition to support your child in the transition to a new school.
Other families may have very little notice that they are relocating, so sessions can be provided to offer support in preparing for interviews and entrance exams, such as the 7+ and the 11+ exams.
The entrance exams can feel like a challenge to parents when they already have many important decisions to make. My aim is to work with you to support you as a family and to help ease the pressure.
